Sessional Helpline Supervisor [ Full Time Job ] Jobs Ads. Of September 7 2006

We are looking for people willing to work a combination of shifts, including at least 2 nights a week and some evenings/weekends as part of a team offering a 24-hour service to people who have run away, left home and the families of missing people.
The ideal candidate will need experience of helpline work either paid or voluntary and/or social care. Experience of working with volunteers would be an advantage.
As a Helpline Supervisor, you will need good listening skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure. You will take calls on the Runaway Helpline (for young people),the Message Home Helpline (for adults), and NMPH (for families of missing people) and supervise and support the helplines’ volunteers.
