we are looking for Content Analyst.
Main Purpose of the role Providing support for specified Publishing Operations and Fabrication teams covering: Document analysis and data conversion specification; Training of content management system end users including editors, freelancers, tabulators, indexers; Technical guidance and analyst support; Specific project work or systems’ responsibilities.
The candidate will be responsible for Preparing and maintaining project plans and project managing, Co-ordinating structural analysis of documents, stylesheet creation and conversion, instructions/guidance note creation, Devising workflow management procedures, Ensuring data integrity across data sets (styles/mark-up, consistency in publications etc.), Liaising/negotiating with editorial/fabrication/development teams, Liaising/negotiating with suppliers (data capture companies, typesetters etc), Co-ordinating QA of data ensuring the correct application of mark up, Specifying functional requirements for editorial tools and possibly coding using relevant technologies.
Responsibility for training editors, freelancers, tabulators and indexers including:Preparing and maintaining training documentation,Managing training programs, Allocating and supervising work,
Providing technical and procedural guidance to the
Publishing Operations and Fabrication teams including:Analytical support of Content Management System and associated tools, Content error resolution, Working on specific projects or maintaining systems as determined through the annual PDP process.
The candidate should have Excellent IT skills and technological understanding of systems and applications, Working knowledge of XML and XSLT, Some knowledge of Word VBA and/or database construction, 2 years editing or relevant publishing experience, Problem Solving, Excellent all round communication skills and Strong industry knowledge. |
