The Education and Training and Unit is responsible for setting the standards for entry to the solicitors profession and for solicitors' post qualification training and development. The Project Officer is responsible for leading, contributing to and implementing development projects relating to the pre- and post qualification education and training of solicitors.
You will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing practical solutions to deliver key policy objectives. This will involve the development of project plans, research and analysis, consultation and the presentation of ideas to key stakeholders. You will need to be able to assess the impact of policy proposals and draft policy papers for committees.
You will have experience of policy development and preparing policy papers, project management, presenting complex information to a range of stakeholders and conducting research and analysis.
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels. You will also be able to draft complex papers and documents and build excellent working relationships. |
